How the admission application process works
- When the APTC school receives your application form it’ll be
assessed to determine whether you’re suitable for the course of
your choice. At this stage you may be contacted by an APTC representative
to confirm the details of your application.
- Suitable applicants will then be asked to attend a literacy and numeracy
assessment at a time convenient to you and the APTC trainer.
- You will also be asked to attend a skills assessment, which may be
either at the school or in your workplace (if you’re currently
employed.)
- After your assessments you’ll be contacted by APTC to let you
know how you went and whether or not you’ve been selected.
- If your application is successful you will be sent a letter of offer including an APTC enrolment form and invoice for your pre-enrolment fee. Please complete the enrolment form and send it back to us with your payment of our pre-enrolment fee. : Effective from 01 July 2010 the pre-enrolment fee is:
- Fiji – F$280
- Samoa – WST 469
- Vanuatu – Vt 18,786
- Papua New Guinea – PGK 571
- When your course starts you’ll need to complete a RPL/RCC assessment
to evaluate your training needs and the hours you’ll need to complete
the qualification. At this stage an invoice for course fees (less pre-enrolment fee) will be issued. Payment (as stated in the invoice) will
be due within 30 days.
- To find out more about how to pay your fees please see How
to pay your fees in the Fees section of this web site. If you want
to know how much your course costs please see the Table
of fees in the Fees section of this web site.
