The APTC offers a wide range of vocational courses to help you earn valuable international qualifications and develop your career in employment categories with high demand for your skills. The courses are grouped together under different schools.

Prospective students for APTC programs will be required to undertake a Communication and Literacy Assessment Skills Package (CLASP) test or similar which is aligned to the industry area for which the application is being made. The CLASP test will determine that applicants have the required level of literacy and numeracy to complete the relevant program of study. For example, the Certificate III in Electro-Technology (Systems Electrician) requires higher level literacy and numeracy skills than other trade areas.
