Certificate III Hospitality (Operations)
Brief description of course
The Certificate III Hospitality (Operations) course is an enterprise specific program that will give you the skills you need to work in operational areas within the hospitality industry. For example, there’s a special focus on developing skills associated with food and beverage, front office and housekeeping services.
As this course is enterprise specific it will only be offered in the workplace within specific organisations.
Entrance requirements
The Certificate III Hospitality (Operations) Program will be tailored to meet the individual training needs of interested organisations following discussion between management and APTC staff. As this is a custom-made course, unfortunately it is unavailable to individual applicants.
Duration
515 hours (maximum)
This course should take around 1 year part-time.
Actual time spent will depend on your individual circumstances. Some people will be exempted certain units if they have relevant work experience or qualifications. This system is known as Recognition of Current Competence (RCC) or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). If you think you may qualify for RCC/RPL, please submit evidence of your prior experience or learning with your application, as it may well shorten the length of your course. Ask for more information when you enrol.
