Labour Market Research Officer
- Located in the APTC Coordination Office - Namaka, Nadi, Fiji
- Short-term contract, 12 weeks from September 2010
The Australia-Pacific Technical College (APTC) is working in partnership
with industry and regional governments to produce work-ready Pacific Island
graduates to Australian vocational standards. The APTC Coordination Office
is managed by Sinclair Knight Merz Pty Ltd (SKM) on behalf of AusAID.
SKM has a vacancy for a Pacific Island national who is an experienced Research Officer. This person will assist the APTC Coordination Office with labour market research which will guide the development of the College's offerings, ensuring that the College annual course profile is demand driven and meets the needs of industry, government and communities in the Pacific region.
The successful applicant will have a strong research background; a proven ability to source and analyse data and compile findings in a concise, well-written manner.The person must also provide evidence of delivery against committments; be able to work effectively in a cross-cultural team and be an effective communicator in the English language.
