Solomon Island Alumni Chapter continues development
General Manager, Antoine Barnaart, Student Administration and Logistics Officer, Amelia Kanalagi and APTC Solomon Island Country Program Coordinator, Nancy Palmer met recently with the Interim Solomon Island Alumni Executive to further progress the development of an Alumni Chapter in that country. Four key tasks were discussed including the formalisation of the SI Executive, Draft APTC Alumni Constitution, procurement of Alumni T Shirts and the Alumni Web Page.
Antoine and Amelia are always encouraged by the enthusiasm showed by past APTC graduates in the Solomon Islands and their commitment to the development and welfare of the APTC. The Interim Executive members also discussed how they could assist Nancy with pre departure briefings for new students who will soon mobilise for Semester 2 courses conducted at APTC campuses.
