Solomon Islands graduates stationed in Shanghai
Of the team of four Solomon Islands Expo staff at the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, three are APTC graduates. Mr John Kuvi, Ms Jessie Konofilia and Mr Christopher Nemaia are the three APTC graduates selected by the Solomon Islands Expo Committee to be part of the team representing the Solomon Islands in the Pacific pavilion.
Team Leader, Mr. John Kuvi, who studied with APTC in Samoa said, "I am proud to be representing my country in Shanghai. The popularity of the pavilion is an achievement that all the staff should be proud of."
With reportedly more than one million visitors per month to what is the world's largest-ever Expo, with 185 countries taking part, the APTC graduates are promoting not only their country, but also their culture and tourism through exhibits, dance and music. They share the Pacific pavilion with fourteen other South Pacific countries.
