Top honours to Ian Wells and Team
ACEM Project Director Ian Wells and his Sunshine Coast APTC project team have won the Queensland Government’s most prestigious training award
The Director-General’s Award for Outstanding Achievement was presented to Mr. Wells at the annual Queensland Government’s 2009 Training Staff Recognition Awards.
The award was presented by Ms. Julie Grantham, Director-General, Department of Education and Training, Queensland, at a ceremony attended by 300 held recently in Brisbane.
“This award is a reflection of the commitment and contributions of a dedicated staff,” said Mr. Wells in accepting the award. He also acknowledged the contribution made by the Box Hill Institute TAFE and the APTC Coordination Office.
Seven awards categories were presented at the ceremony, with Mr. Wells and his team taking top honours.
