ACEM Samoa farewells Electrical students
To say “Farewell” two groups of Electrical students, ACEM in Samoa recently organised something different by having a sausage sizzle for current and completing students, numbering about 70 in all.
ACEM Manager, Ms Francis Howes, addressed the Electrical students, congratulating them on their strong work ethic as well as their commitment to their studies. She reminded them of the need to continue this dedication into the workplace.
Ms Howes also acknowledged the current student representatives for their strong leadership role in supporting positive communication between students and staff, as well as supporting students in their day-to-day study and personal needs.
The occasion included a volleyball competition at the International Students accommodation. During the ‘Staff and Partners versus Students’ game, “the students were very kind to us and let us appear to save our dignity - but they still won,” reported Ms Howes.
