APTC Samoa restaurant wins prestigious Award
One of the first functions held in the APTC Visions Training Restaurant in Apia, Samoa this semester was the monthly meeting of the Samoa Chamber of Commerce.
The Cookery students prepared top class finger food for the function which brought compliments from the 70 guests. The Hospitality students served the food and drinks graciously and with an attitude of friendliness and professionalism.
This function was so successful that it led the Chamber of Commerce to present the APTC students with their prize for "Best Monthly Function Host." The award was a result of being voted the best function amongst the other functions held at top level hotels and locations. A Certificate was presented to each of the APTC Cookery and Hospitality Student during the last week of their studies. The students were very proud and excited to receive this certificate and the acknowledgement of this important private sector business organisation.
Campus Manager Ms Francis Howes said "APTC is pleased to support the Chamber of Commerce & Industry with their meetings and we look forward to hosting another event in 2012".
