Bulaccino facilitates barista training at Fusions
Industry experts, Bulaccino’s Operations Manager, Dirk Rodenburg and Mereseini Rabuta, Senior Barista, recently facilitated four barista training sessions at the Namaka Campus.
“We invited Dirk and Mereseini to share their expertise and passion with the students, to ensure that we are delivering ‘industry current’ training,” explained APTC APTC Hospitality trainer Oliver Budack.
The four sessions took place at the Fusions training restaurant at Namaka Campus, which is equipped with a state-of-the-art barista training facility. This includes two group commercial espresso machines and Mazzer grinders.
“The training was a huge success and the students got excited and inspired by the industry experts’ demonstrations and hands-on-training,” said Oliver.
Dirk commented, "Mereseini and I had a wonderful time with the students. I was really impressed with their abilities on the espresso machines for first time baristas, so whatever you had been doing...keep on doing it!”
