SKM Senior Managers Visit APTC Nadi

Adam Carey, SKM Group Manager International Development recently visited the APTC Coordination Office which is managed by SKM. Adam had detailed and productive discussions with CO staff. He was particularly interested in the progress of the College and what were the big challenges for the next 2 years. He also was keen to hear from the CO locally engaged staff (LES) on positives about their working for APTC and SKM, the lessons learned from the implementation to date and their views on how SKM can attract, reward and retain high quality LES for future international projects.
After the morning meetings Adam joined all the CO staff and John Campbell, SKM Fiji , for a delicious lunch and “High Tea” at the APTC Training Restaurant in Namaka. This also provided a good opportunity to meet with students and STH staff. Jim Irwin, STH Fiji country Manager took the guests on a tour of the new training kitchens, funded by APTC, and located within TPAF complex. .
