“No ordinary students,” says Trainer
“These are no ordinary students,” said Chef Trainer, David Rassmussen.
Mr Rassmussen was referring to his student chefs who are preparing food at the Nambanga training restaurant.
The Commercial Cookery Certificate III students are from Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, the Solomons, Kiribati and Nauru.
“Some of these students were winners in last year’s Vanuatu’s Chef of the Year,” continued Mr Rassmussen.
“These extraordinary students are now training to attain higher levels of expertise, and international standards. APTC recognises prior experience and skills that students bring to their course of studies,” explained Mr Rassmussen.
Mr Rassmussen said that the restaurant had been well patronised by
by resort owners, their chefs, and food and beverage and hospitality managers.They, along with the other guests, had eaten elegant meals, served with style, in a chic restauarant.
