Sixty-eight new graduates for Vanuatu
At a recent ceremony held in Port Vila, Vanuatu, 68 new APTC graduates joined the College’s ever-increasing alumni.
Twenty-one graduates in Children’s Services, 46 in Tourism and Hospitality, and one with Certificate III in Painting and Decorating, gathered to receive their Certificates from Australian High Commissioner to Vanuatu, HE Pablo Kang.
In his keynote address at the ceremony, the Hon. Charlot Salwai, Minister of Education, commented upon the important role that the graduates in the different disciplines would play in the future development of Vanuatu.
He congratulated the Australian Government “for taking initiatives…to respond to…very important and crucial needs…”
The Minister also expressed his desire to see APTC and its program continue into the future, saying, “I would like to invite and propose to all interested partners and those involved, to maintain this program and to rethink it for 2012 and beyond…”
