Vanuatu Children’s Services students gain confidence with First aid training
APTC Vanuatu Certificate III Children’s Services students said that they felt more confident about responding to accidents and emergencies in their workplaces after completing First Aid training.
The nineteen students said that they enjoyed the First Aid competency sessions, which were conducted earlier in the year by Melbourne-based First Aid Trainer, Karen Ross-Phillips.
The compulsory first aid component of the Children’s Services course included training in response to first aid situations, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and dressing wounds. All the participants successfully completed the component, and each received an Advanced First Aid Certificate.
