ACEM Office Finance Manager prepares to farewell Fiji
Terri Brereton is preparing to bid farewell to Fiji after nearly two years in her position as ACEM Office Finance Officer, at Centrepoint, Suva.
Terri came to Fiji at the end of August 2007, from Sunshine Coast Institute TAFE, where she had worked as Contract Administrator since 2002, bringing with her, her rich experience in international projects, business development, and short-term, in-country projects in South Pacific Forum island countries.
By the beginning of 2008, Terri’s initial work of supervising contractors putting in infrastructure was completed, and the ACEM Training Programs began.
Terri will be succeeded by Fiji local, Margaret Tunavulu.
“I have every confidence in Margaret,” says Terri. “She has a strong financial background, having worked for the Reserve Bank of Fiji, and is well-versed in Audit and Compliance.”
Terri says that her lasting impressions of her time in Fiji will be “the ACEM programs and how they make such a difference to students’ lives, the excitement of the students, and the creativity of the trainers in their delivery of Australian Qualifications.”
