Student information
Student services
Library
Students at the APTC have access to all the appropriate materials required for their courses. These materials will also be available at local libraries in each country.
PC and Internet access
At each campus of the APTC there’s a PC laboratory that students can use during working hours and outside of class times. You’ll be able to access the Internet, complete assignments or participate in online activities through this facility, as well as access online resources like journal articles and databases.
Student participation and networking
All our students have access to student associations, sporting venues and social activities offered by our partner institutions. Networking functions involving current and former students, industry representatives and staff are planned on a bi-annual basis. Details will be posted on this web page as they become available.
Student welfare
- Our staff are available outside class hours if you have any queries or problems while studying.
- We offer learning support in literacy or numeracy when extra assistance is required to complete an assignment or essay.
- We maintain an up-to-date list of local accommodation options for overseas students.
- If you’re returning to study you may wish to pick up our kit that offers advice on some of the challenges and issues you may face, as well as some strategies that will help you overcome these difficulties. We also offer ‘return to study’ workshops as part of student orientation.
Graduation ceremonies
At the completion of each course a graduation ceremony is conducted for all qualifying students. Graduates are presented with APTC certificates issued under the authority of the Australian Registered Training Organisations delivering the APTC courses. These certificates state the standard you achieved and mark a moment of pride and celebration for students, their family and friends.
