Certificate IV in Training & Assessment

“I was really lucky because I was given a scholarship to study at APTC, and I would not hesitate to recommend APTC to anyone” are the words of Ulaiasi, a proud APTC alumnus, who graduated with Certificate IV in Training & Assessment in 2010.

Ulaiasi is from Fiji and now resides in Australia. After graduating from APTC, Ulaiasi was able to get a teaching job in Western Australia at the College of Electrical Training (CET) in 2011. He feels very fortunate as his Australian qualification from APTC have assisted him in getting a well-paying job in Australia.

Teaching in a new environment is a challenge and “I overcome this by using knowledge that I learnt from experienced trainers at APTC.  It takes time but I am getting there slowly and I am enjoying my time here at CET,” says Ulaiasi.

His advice to APTC graduates and current students is to be honest and work hard, “life is short, make the most out of it.”

APTC is an Australian Government initiative in partnership with the Pacific and Timor-Leste.

APTC is implemented by TAFE Queensland (RTO 0275)
