Applying for a Course

It is important to read the following information and follow our easy steps to apply for an APTC course. It is also important to note there is no cost to receive an Application for Admission Form or to submit a completed Application for Admission Form to APTC.

As our students come from 14 different countries across the Pacific, it can take some time for schools to assess and respond to every applicant. Please contact the relevant campus or country representative if you need to follow up on your application or if you require any further information. All being well, you’ll soon be on your way to earning internationally recognised qualifications that will equip you for a rewarding career in the field of your choice!

Steps to help you apply

  1. Obtain your APTC Application for Admission Form. There are 3 ways you can do this:
    • APTC Course Application Form
    • Contact an APTC office in Fiji, Vanuatu, Samoa, Solomon Islands or Papua New Guinea. Go to Contact us to find the campus contact details.
    • You can also contact an APTC representative in countries where we do not have a campus, including Tonga and Kiribati. Go to Contact Us to find the contact details.
  2. Complete the Application for Admission Form
  3. Please ensure that ALL sections of the application form are completed and ALL required attachments are supplied, otherwise this will delay the process. If you have any questions, please Contact Us.
  4. Remember that if your fees are being paid for by your employer, your employer will need to provide their contact details on the application form and sign the declaration under the Employer Support Section of the application form.
  5. Submit your completed application form (with all required attachments) by:

    Send by Mail:

    APTC Regional Head Office
    PO Box 14319, Suva, Fiji Islands

    OR to an APTC office in your country of residence.

    Hand Deliver:
    to your local APTC Office in Fiji, Vanuatu, Samoa, Papua New Guinea, Kiribati, Nauru, Solomon Islands or Tonga

Application for Admission Form

If you are unable to download a copy of the application form, please email enquiries@aptc.edu.au to request a copy be emailed to you. ALL APTC APPLICATION FORMS ARE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE.

 

 


 

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility and selection will be based on information you provide on your Application for Admission Form. We only offer places to students who:

  • Have prior related industry experience, and/or
  • Have a related qualification and/or prior relevant training in that field.

APTC is open to fee-paying students.

Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) and Skills/Knowledge Assessments will also be conducted to determine your eligibility. Both are designed to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake the course of study successfully.

In addition, to be eligible for local student fees (which are highly subsidised by the Australian Government) you must meet the following criteria:

An applicant must be a citizen and a current resident of one of the following countries:

  • Cook Islands
  • Federated States of Micronesia
  • Fiji
  • Kiribati
  • Nauru
  • Niue
  • Palau
  • Papua New Guinea
  • Republic of the Marshall Islands
  • Samoa
  • Solomon Islands
  • Tonga
  • Tuvalu
  • Vanuatu
